Winchester City 10k Road Race - Sunday 21st February 2010
In October last year, a team comprising of Neil McBeth, Hannah Moss and our very own Neil Wilson were joined by 6 other brave volunteers in taking on the Great South Run – and winning! They had a great day and raised an amazing £2,500 for the Change My Life Appeal.
We are looking for 10 equally brave people to form a Rose Road team and take to the streets of Winchester on 21st February for the 10K City Road Race. This is a perfect event for those new to running as well those more experienced runners amongst you! The route follows a loop around the outskirts of Winchester, starting at River Park Leisure Centre and finishing at Winchester Football Club. It is a great way to raise funds for the Appeal whilst blowing away those winter cobwebs.
Entry is only £12.00 and there are a limited 1000 places available. We are asking for each team member to try and raise a minimum £100 in sponsorship.
