Join us from 12pm to 5pm at the poolside of the stunning Hockley House, a Georgian Country estate set in beautiful grounds at Cheriton near Winchester, for a BBQ lunch and relax to music from the Dave Lewin Jazz quartet. A freshly cooked lunch will be served from 12pm to 3pm and tickets are only £20.00 per person with a complimentary drink on arrival.
The BIG Fun Run takes place on Southampton Common on Saturday 9th October and covers a 5km flat course which is open to all ages making it perfect for the whole family to enjoy. As Rose Road are one of the official charities for the event entry is just £8 per person with under 5’s free and every penny you raise in sponsorship will come straight to Rose Road.
Here come the girls! Rose Road is delighted to announce that we have secured a limited number of Great South Run places in addition to our team of 20 lovely ladies who will be taking on the 10 mile course on 24th October. If you would like to join the Rose Road Ladies Team for the event, please get in touch. We are asking all of our runners to raise a minimum of £150 and we will be on hand to provide fundraising support along the way.
This year’s Crystal Ball will be held on Saturday 13th November at the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton and we are delighted to welcome Thomas Eggar LLP on board as supporting partner for the event. Thomas Eggar LLP are taking on the challenge and organising a Team Triathlon with a difference on 24th November 2010 in support of Rose Road. The event will take place at David Lloyd Southampton and it will be aimed at all abilities, so put on your running shoes, grab your swimsuit and get ready for the team building event of the year!
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest freestanding mountain in the world. With permanent glaciers that flow down from the summit, spectacular views and exotic ice formations it is also one of the most impressive.With a daunting but achievable fundraising target this challenge presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to conquer fear, test ability and do something truly inspiring for Rose Road.
Join us and guest speaker Kim O’Neill for lunch at the Concorde Club for a delicious 2 course lunch, coffee and the chance to hear Kim talk about her experiences as a senior BA stewardesses, travelling the world and meeting some very interesting people! The event will the ideal way to brush away the winter blues and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with friends of Rose Road.
Join us at the Novotel Southampton for a fun filled evening of fashion and beauty. With a fashion show kicking off the event you will then be invited to purchase any of the clothes modelled afterwards. If this isn’t enough there will be a host of different stalls including local salons offering pampering treats such as mini manicures and massages. More information about the event to follow soon.
